This project was funded on kickstarter. All proceeds from this deck of cards goes to bring awareness and fight human trafficking.
Like our first edition, these cards will be traditionally cut and made of crushed stock to the thinnest caliber range for the smoothest handling for magicians and cardists alike. The deck will also have an air-cushioned finish.
We brought back the same designer from the first edition deck, Aaron Dickey. We went back and forth on every little detail, and wanted the best possible product to put into this world. The tuck box is matte black with a dark red foil. Nothing is printed on the box, just the foil. The front has the unlocked lock and the back has the Hope For Justice dove logo. Whenever Hope For Justice saves someone out of human trafficking, they put an unlocked lock on their wall.
We originally wanted to find 4 women in trafficking and put their faces on the Queens. But, lives would have been in danger as traffickers are continually looking for those who have escaped their grip. To honor the women who have been, and still are, exploited, we have pixilated the Queens faces.
